Coaching

Intro summary paragraph: what I do, who I do it with, how I do it. Photo in the sidebar.

The process of working with folks who want to improve their relationship with finances is one of the most joyful ways to spend my time! I love knitting together my deep financial knowledge, teaching experience, empathetic connection, and penchant for organization to help people bring more confidence and peace to their financial choices. Personal finance can be such a taboo; thank you for your bravery in changing the story.

Some of the types of questions that I have helped people with include:

  • What are the financial trade offs of deciding to have a second child?
  • How do I create a plan to create a solid emergency fund, and then stick to it?
  • What is an HSA and why do I care?
  • How can I fund homeschooling projects and work an amount that allows me time with my kids?
  • How much should I charge another person to live in the extra space in my house? How will this impact my life financially?
  • How do I know how much to set aside for my children’s college fund?
  • How do I open an IRA and why would I want to?
  • What kinds of advisers do I want in my financial life and how do I want to compensate them?

Like a good athletic coach, a financial coach helps folks to find their own motivations and create practices that support their goals. Our work together is successful when you are living your financial life in alignment with your values.

I work with both couples and individuals, and love helping folks to bring their money goals to fruition for their families.

Here’s how to get in touch.
